We cold steep this Imperial Coffee Stout with rich full bodied (413) coffee beans roasted by our friends at Barrington Coffee Roasting Company in Lee, MA. We brewed this special batch exclusively for Massachusetts, so we asked around for everyone’s favorite coffee in town and the consensus sent us into Barrington Roasters for some of their farm direct (413). The heady perfume of (413)’s maraschino cherry, molasses, strawberry, caramelized fig, blond tobacco, and malt flavors and aromas rise to the top delighting the senses. The beer then gracefully coats the palate with a deep cushion of velvet, lush silk appeal. At 11.5% ABV warm alcohol flavors elegantly finish this delightfully sensuous brew.
